What our members have to say…
Love the Milton Chamber of Commerce. Great place to network and look into new opportunities. Recently as I am growing my business into a franchise, I wanted more corporate fitness business to come my way.
I actually had my eye on a large corporate company in Milton. It just so happened that their HR department was at one of the Chamber meeting events promoting who they were looking for. Once (they were) done their presentation, I introduced myself. Believe it or not, they were looking for a fitness service to aid them at their head office.
So, we gained a new corporate fitness client thanks to the Milton Chamber.

As Co-Chair, for the Milton Chamber Breakfast Club it’s refreshing to connect with local, like-minded, business professionals. When Candybox first joined the Milton Chamber, we were immediately greeted with open arms and found a willingness to work on a few marketing initiatives that go far beyond the simple membership dues. We’ve been members for a couple of years now and have made great connections with local business owners, entrepreneurs and business executives at larger enterprises. If you’re interested in growing your business within the Milton region, I highly recommend you join the Chamber and participate with the series of events held each month. You should definitely start with the Milton Chamber Breakfast Club and we hope to see you soon!

(CLIC) has given me a great opportunity to exchange ideas with other business people in the community. Actually, this to me, has been a byproduct of the meetings as I assumed that initially it would be more of a “read and learn” type of exercise but it has become so much more than that. The reading materials have been very educational but also have lead me to learn more about what it available to me through the library system that I had no idea about…each specific session has given me some new thoughts and ideas to pursue when problem solving in that area. The wealth of knowledge that is available out there is so overwhelming that when it is trimmed down to manageable, informative portions it is extremely helpful.

Today was my first time at a Milton Chamber MYP event. I was excited to meet young professionals like myself and get exposed to the Milton business community. I was pleasantly surprised by the presentation Neil Thornton gave us. He was honest, funny, and to the point. He was not afraid to challenge us and our methods, and forced us to think about adapting to the new reality of sales. I gained lots of new and valuable insights from Neil and I will adapt this to my career going forward.

As Co-Chair of the World Class Summit Chain Summit and on behalf of the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Laurier, I was very pleased to have the Milton Chamber as a new partner in our 2nd annual event. The Chamber is a community leader in presenting initiatives of this caliber and is the voice of business in Milton. They were an invaluable part of our planning committee and a great resource in connecting Milton Supply Chain companies to our Summit.

I was very impressed with the Supply Chain Summit. It was an enjoyable day of learning, networking and forward thinking. The presenters were very well spoken, and informative.
The diversity in the audience was unlike any other Supply Chain Event I’ve attended. I was seated at a table with both students and established Executives, which was unique and beneficial to gain a new perspective on the upcoming growth to our Industry and specifically to the town of Milton.
Thanks to the Milton Chamber for taking a leadership role in presenting this high quality initiative. I will definitely be attending again next year.
