Summer Jobs Program applies to employers with 50 or fewer full-time employees. Is there any consideration to opening it up to larger companies with over 50 employees?

As of now, the requirement of 50 or less full-time employees stays the same.

We could use a summer student, but it appears that applications had to be in Feb 28! It was a different world back then. Is there any support for hiring a student now?

There will be news soon on these jobs

Would the government consider creating a job board for students who are not employed, but are receiving the benefit for unemployed students and would like to do some work and learn some useful skills over the summer. Perhaps call it unpaid internships? I know that some students would rather do some (or a lot even) work even if they are not getting paid, since the government will be proving much needed support.
