Important Update Regarding Email Communication with Milton Chamber

Recently, we implemented a new email security protocol called DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance) to enhance the security of our email communications. DMARC helps verify the authenticity of email senders and prevents email spoofing, phishing, and other malicious activities.

What does this mean for you?

If you are sending emails to us, please be aware that emails from non-DMARC compliant senders may experience delivery issues or may not reach us at all. This change is crucial for ensuring the security and integrity of our email communications.

To ensure uninterrupted communication with us, we strongly encourage all members:

  1. Check if your email domain is DMARC compliant (here is a useful tool)
  2. If not already compliant, work with your IT team or email service provider to implement DMARC for your domain.

How do I know if my emails are getting through?

We aim to answer all emails in 2 business days. When in doubt, feel free to call the Milton Chamber office at (905) 878-0581 to confirm receipt of your email.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding DMARC implementation or its impact on your email communication with us, please do not hesitate to reach out to bianca@miltonchamber.ca.
