STEVE RAETZ OF C.H. ROBINSON CONFIRMED AS KEYNOTE SPEAKER FOR WORLD CLASS SUPPLY CHAIN 2018 IN MILTON ON MAY 9

MILTON (March 19, 2018) – Steve Raetz, Director of Research and Market Intelligence at C.H. Robinson, a leading third-party logistics, and supply chain management provider, will deliver the industry keynote presentation at the third annual World Class Supply Chain Summit at the Granite Ridge Golf Club in Milton on Wednesday, May 9.

The Milton Chamber of Commerce will again partner with the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University and CN to host the event, World Class Supply Chain 2018, Innovation in a Complex, Uncertain World.

The Summit is fast becoming an important industry-academia forum, where more than 100 leaders come together to discuss the current state of supply chain and logistics – in Canada and throughout the world – and provide insights on how challenges can be overcome and opportunities leveraged.

About Steve Raetz

Mr. Raetz joined C.H. Robinson in 1989, and currently focuses on areas contributing to the evolution of the company’s supply chain value proposition to its clients, supporting client sales and relationship strategies through transportation market insights and academic research.

Previously, he led CHR’s consulting team, was General Manager of Minneapolis National Accounts, and served as the Southeast Regional Transportation Manager for the Quaker Oats Company. Mr. Raetz is a member of the advisory boards of three university supply chain programs.

Academic keynote speaker, Dr. Thomas J. Goldsby

Dr. Goldsby, the Harry T. Mangurian, Jr. Foundation Professor in Business and Professor of Logistics at The Ohio State University will give the academic keynote presentation at World Class Supply Chain 2018.

Dr. Goldsby’s research interests include logistics strategy, supply chain integration, and the theory and practice of lean and agile supply chain strategies.

He is Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Business Logistics, and former Editor of Transportation Journal. Dr. Goldsby serves as Associate Director of The Center for Operational Excellence (COE), a Research Fellow of the National Center for the Middle Market, and a research associate of the Global Supply Chain Forum, all housed at Ohio State’s Fisher College of Business.
